In 2017, the national minimum wage in Armenia remained fixed at €107.4 per month, that is 1,289 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.
If we look at the minimum salary in Dram, which is the official currency in Armenia, we can see that, this year, it was 55,000 Dram and accordingly, the national minimum wage has remained stable, while the CPI of 2016 which was -1.1%, so workers have lost purchasing power in the last year.
If we look at the ranking of the national minimum wage that we publish, Armenia is in 89 nd place, so it is among the countries with the lowest minimum salary of the 115 of the list.
