Since June 2018, the national minimum wage in Albania remained fixed at €190.6 per month, that is 2,287 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.
If we look at the minimum salary in Lek, which is the official currency in Albania, we can see that, this year, it was 24,000 Lek and accordingly, the national minimum wage has remained stable so workers have lost purchasing power in the last year.
If we look at the ranking of the national minimum wage that we publish, Albania is in 74 nd place, so it is among the countries with the lowest minimum salary of the 115 of the list.
