In 2015 Zimbabwe public debt was 7,521 million euros 8,346 million dollars, has increased 1,611492 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 51.93% of Zimbabwe GDP, a 2.33 percentage point rise from 2014, when it was 49.6% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Zimbabwe debt. It has risen since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 2,401 million euros 2,991 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 38.2%.
According to the last data point published, Zimbabwe per capita debt in 2015 was 477 euros529 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 384 euros 510 dollars, afterwards rising by 93 euros19 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 203 euros253 dollars .
The position of Zimbabwe, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 100 in the list of debt to GDP and 39 in debt per capita, out of the 186 we publish.
