In 2018 Ukraine public debt was 66,954 million euros79,105 million dollars, has decreased 4,1491,191 million since 2017.
This amount means that the debt in 2018 reached 60.42% of Ukraine GDP, a 11.2 percentage point fall from 2017, when it was 71.62% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Ukraine debt. It has risen since 2008 in global debt terms, when it was 25,168 million euros 37,011 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 20.41%.
According to the last data point published, Ukraine per capita debt in 2018 was 1,595 euros1,884 dollars per inhabitant. In 2017 it was 1,684 euros 1,902 dollars, afterwards dropping by 89 euros 18dollars, and if we again check 2008 we can see that then the debt per person was 548 euros805 dollars .
The position of Ukraine, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2018 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 128 in the list of debt to GDP and 81 in debt per capita, out of the 191 we publish.
