In 2015 Taiwan public debt was 173,304 million euros 192,280 million dollars, has increased 22,1598,516 million since 2014.
This amount means that the debt in 2015 reached 36.61% of Taiwan GDP, a 1.25 percentage point fall from 2014, when it was 37.86% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Taiwan debt. It has risen since 2005 in global debt terms, when it was 102,295 million euros 127,265 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 33.91%.
According to the last data point published, Taiwan per capita debt in 2015 was 7,377 euros8,185 dollars per inhabitant. In 2014 it was 6,450 euros 8,569 dollars, afterwards rising by 927 euros384 dollars, and if we again check 2005 we can see that then the debt per person was 4,493 euros5,589 dollars .
The position of Taiwan, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2015 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 55 in the list of debt to GDP and 141 in debt per capita, out of the 184 we publish.
