In 2021 Slovenia public debt was 38,858 million euros45,989 million dollars, has increased 1,4353,279 million since 2020.
This amount means that the debt in 2021 reached 74.7% of Slovenia GDP, a 5.1 percentage point fall from 2020, when it was 79.8% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Slovenia debt. It has risen since 2011 in global debt terms, when it was 17,217 million euros 23,961 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 46.5%.
According to the last data point published, Slovenia per capita debt in 2021 was 18,425 euros21,807 dollars per inhabitant. In 2020 it was 17,745 euros 20,252 dollars, afterwards rising by 680 euros1,555 dollars, and if we again check 2011 we can see that then the debt per person was 8,376 euros11,657 dollars .
The position of Slovenia, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2021 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 128 in the list of debt to GDP and 160 in debt per capita, out of the 190 we publish.
