In 2018 Slovenia public debt was 32,232 million euros 38,066 million dollars, has increased 3732,075 million since 2017.
This amount means that the debt in 2018 reached 70.1% of Slovenia GDP, a 4 percentage point fall from 2017, when it was 74.1% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Slovenia debt. It has risen since 2008 in global debt terms, when it was 8,275 million euros 12,170 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 21.8%.
According to the last data point published, Slovenia per capita debt in 2018 was 15,594 euros18,417 dollars per inhabitant. In 2017 it was 15,414 euros 17,413 dollars, afterwards rising by 180 euros1,004 dollars, and if we again check 2008 we can see that then the debt per person was 4,071 euros5,988 dollars .
The position of Slovenia, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2018 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 142 in the list of debt to GDP and 157 in debt per capita, out of the 186 we publish.
