In 2017 Slovenia public debt was 31,860 million euros 35,992 million dollars, has increased 130870 million since 2016.
This amount means that the debt in 2017 reached 73.6% of Slovenia GDP, a 4.9 percentage point fall from 2016, when it was 78.5% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Slovenia debt. It has risen since 2007 in global debt terms, when it was 8,025 million euros 10,998 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 22.8%.
According to the last data point published, Slovenia per capita debt in 2017 was 15,422 euros17,422 dollars per inhabitant. In 2016 it was 15,359 euros 17,001 dollars, afterwards rising by 63 euros421 dollars, and if we again check 2007 we can see that then the debt per person was 3,992 euros5,471 dollars .
The position of Slovenia, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2017 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 144 in the list of debt to GDP and 157 in debt per capita, out of the 185 we publish.
