In 2021 Kyrgyzstan public debt was 4,401 million euros5,206 million dollars, has decreased 22465 million since 2020.
This amount means that the debt in 2021 reached 60.97% of Kyrgyzstan GDP, a 6.68 percentage point fall from 2020, when it was 67.65% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Kyrgyzstan debt. It has risen since 2011 in global debt terms, when it was 2,231 million euros 3,102 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 50.06%.
According to the last data point published, Kyrgyzstan per capita debt in 2021 was 669 euros791 dollars per inhabitant. In 2020 it was 703 euros 801 dollars, afterwards dropping by 34 euros 10dollars, and if we again check 2011 we can see that then the debt per person was 407 euros566 dollars .
The position of Kyrgyzstan, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2021 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 103 in the list of debt to GDP and 43 in debt per capita, out of the 190 we publish.
