In 2018 Kyrgyzstan public debt was 3,838 million euros 4,532 million dollars, has decreased 172 2 million since 2017.
This amount means that the debt in 2018 reached 56.03% of Kyrgyzstan GDP, a 2.76 percentage point fall from 2017, when it was 58.79% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Kyrgyzstan debt. It has risen since 2008 in global debt terms, when it was 1,713 million euros 2,519 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 49.01%.
According to the last data point published, Kyrgyzstan per capita debt in 2018 was 613 euros724 dollars per inhabitant. In 2017 it was 653 euros 738 dollars, afterwards dropping by 40 euros 14dollars, and if we again check 2008 we can see that then the debt per person was 324 euros476 dollars .
The position of Kyrgyzstan, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2018 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 110 in the list of debt to GDP and 42 in debt per capita, out of the 186 we publish.
