In 2019 Djibouti public debt was 1,155 million euros1,293 million dollars, has decreased 31108 million since 2018.
This amount means that the debt in 2019 reached 38.66% of Djibouti GDP, a 7.85 percentage point fall from 2018, when it was 46.51% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Djibouti debt. It has risen since 2009 in global debt terms, when it was 302 million euros 422 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 29.56%.
According to the last data point published, Djibouti per capita debt in 2019 was 1,187 euros1,328 dollars per inhabitant. In 2018 it was 1,131 euros 1,335 dollars, afterwards rising by 56 euros7 dollars, and if we again check 2009 we can see that then the debt per person was 370 euros515 dollars .
