In 2019 Denmark public debt was 103,170 million euros 115,498 million dollars, has increased 1,4884,588 million since 2018.
This amount means that the debt in 2019 reached 33.2% of Denmark GDP, a 1 percentage point fall from 2018, when it was 34.2% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Denmark debt. It has risen since 2009 in global debt terms, when it was 92,987 million euros 129,698 million dollars although it has fallen as a percentage of GDP, when it amounted to 40.2%.
According to the last data point published, Denmark per capita debt in 2019 was 17,769 euros19,893 dollars per inhabitant. In 2018 it was 17,513 euros 20,683 dollars, afterwards rising by 256 euros790 dollars, and if we again check 2009 we can see that then the debt per person was 16,801 euros23,433 dollars .
The position of Denmark, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2019 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 40 in the list of debt to GDP and 159 in debt per capita, out of the 186 we publish.
