In 2017 Denmark public debt was 104,895 million euros 118,500 million dollars, has decreased 338 2,017 million since 2016.
This amount means that the debt in 2017 reached 36.4% of Denmark GDP, a 1.5 percentage point fall from 2016, when it was 37.9% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Denmark debt. It has risen since 2007 in global debt terms, when it was 63,755 million euros 87,376 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 27.3%.
According to the last data point published, Denmark per capita debt in 2017 was 18,247 euros20,613 dollars per inhabitant. In 2016 it was 18,305 euros 20,262 dollars, afterwards dropping by 58 euros 351dollars, and if we again check 2007 we can see that then the debt per person was 11,643 euros15,957 dollars .
The position of Denmark, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2017 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 53 in the list of debt to GDP and 159 in debt per capita, out of the 185 we publish.
