In 2019 Belarus public debt was 23,588 million euros26,407 million dollars, has decreased 5462,095 million since 2018.
This amount means that the debt in 2019 reached 41.86% of Belarus GDP, a 5.66 percentage point fall from 2018, when it was 47.52% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Belarus debt. It has risen since 2009 in global debt terms, when it was 11,881 million euros 16,571 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 32.55%.
According to the last data point published, Belarus per capita debt in 2019 was 2,507 euros2,807 dollars per inhabitant. In 2018 it was 2,560 euros 3,023 dollars, afterwards dropping by 53 euros 216dollars, and if we again check 2009 we can see that then the debt per person was 1,253 euros1,748 dollars .
The position of Belarus, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2019 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 75 in the list of debt to GDP and 99 in debt per capita, out of the 188 we publish.
