In 2022 Belarus public debt was 27,581 million euros29,067 million dollars, has increased 3,848978 million since 2021.
This amount means that the debt in 2022 reached 39.75% of Belarus GDP, a 1.43 percentage point fall from 2021, when it was 41.18% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Belarus debt. It has risen since 2012 in global debt terms, when it was 18,872 million euros 24,262 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 36.95%.
According to the last data point published, Belarus per capita debt in 2022 was 2,965 euros3,124 dollars per inhabitant. In 2021 it was 2,538 euros 3,004 dollars, afterwards rising by 427 euros120 dollars, and if we again check 2012 we can see that then the debt per person was 1,994 euros2,564 dollars .
The position of Belarus, as compared with the rest of the world, has remained in 2022 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 45 in the list of debt to GDP and 97 in debt per capita, out of the 190 we publish.
