The transparency law of Bahamas has been in force since 2017 and with it has earned 103 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Bahamas is now ranked 35 in the transparency ranking formed by 133 countries, meaning it is among those that must improve its laws in order to guarantee access to information.
This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
