Christianity grow in Nigeria while believers dropped

Christianity is the Nigeria's top religion, around 46.22% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.75%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Nigeria population, has dropped to 99.75%. As to Christianity it has increased, the previous survey recorded 44% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 46.22% follow it.

Islam is the second most practiced religion in Nigeria, accounts for about 45.36% of the population.
