Islam grow in Nigeria while believers dropped

Islam, with 50.8% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.69%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Nigeria population, has dropped to 99.69%. As to Islam it has increased, the previous survey recorded 49.5% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 50.8% follow it.

The Nigeria’s second-largest religion is Christianity, accounts for about 42% of the population.
