InMauritius decreases believers but Hindu remained

Hindu is the Mauritius's top religion, around 45% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.6%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Mauritius population, has dropped to 99.6%. As to Hindu has not change, the previous survey recorded 45% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 45% follow it.

Christianity is the second most practiced religion in Mauritius, accounts for about 36.23% of the population.
