Hindu believers fall in Mauritius

Hindu is the Mauritius's top religion, around 45% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.67%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Mauritius population, has dropped to 99.67%. As to Hindu it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 46.24% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 45% follow it.

Christianity is the second most practiced religion in Mauritius, accounts for about 36.41% of the population.
