The latest survey data indicate believers share of Malawi population, has dropped to 99.75%. As to Christianity it has increased, the previous survey recorded 64.58% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 68.76% follow it.
The Malawi’s second-largest religion is Islam, accounts for about 16% of the population.
