The latest survey data indicate believers share of Malawi population, has dropped to 99.84%. As to Christianity it has increased, the previous survey recorded 63.58% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 64.58% follow it.
Islam is the second most practiced religion in Malawi, accounts for about 20% of the population.
