Libya - Religions

Islam, with 86.23% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. The entire population, 100%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Libya population, has remained to 100%. As to Islam it has decreased, the previous survey recorded 95.25% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 86.23% follow it.

The Libya’s second-largest religion is Other Religions, accounts for about 10.85% of the population.
