Christianity is the Lesotho's top religion, around 86.71% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.94%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Lesotho population, has remained to 99.94%. As to Christianity it has increased, the previous survey recorded 81.49% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 86.71% follow it.

Animist Religions is the second most practiced religion in Lesotho, accounts for about 12% of the population.
