Increases believers proportion in Japan

Shinto, with 76.55% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. A very great percentage of Japanese, 89.82%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Japan population, has increase to 89.82%. As to Shinto has not change, the previous survey recorded 76.55% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 76.55% follow it.

The Japan’s second-largest religion is Buddhism, accounts for about 70.82% of the population.
