InJapan decreases believers but Shinto remained

Shinto is the Japan's top religion, around 76.55% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 91.19%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Japan population, has dropped to 91.19%. As to Shinto has not change, the previous survey recorded 76.55% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 76.55% follow it.

Buddhism is the second most practiced religion in Japan, accounts for about 70% of the population.
