The majority religion in Hungary is Christianity, with 87.79% adherents. A very great percentage of Hungarians, 89.39%, are religious in Hungary.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Hungary population, has dropped to 89.39%. As to Christianity it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 88.83% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 87.79% follow it.
