Christianity believers fall in Guyana

The majority religion in Guyana is Christianity, with 42.21% adherents. A very great percentage of Guyanese, 85.5%, are religious in Guyana.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Guyana population, has dropped to 85.5%. As to Christianity it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 55.23% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 42.21% follow it.

The second-largest religion in Guyana is Hindu, accounts for about 35% of the population.
