Islam believers fall in Egypt

Islam, with 87.21% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.93%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Egypt population, has dropped to 99.93%. As to Islam it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 92.63% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 87.21% follow it.

The Egypt’s second-largest religion is Christianity, accounts for about 10.48% of the population.
