Cyprus - Religions

Christianity, with 78.81% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 97.89%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Cyprus population, has dropped to 97.89%. As to Christianity it has increased, the previous survey recorded 77.23% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 78.81% follow it.

The Cyprus’s second-largest religion is Islam, accounts for about 19% of the population.
