Christianity grow in Cyprus while believers dropped

Christianity, with 77.23% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 98.05%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Cyprus population, has dropped to 98.05%. As to Christianity it has increased, the previous survey recorded 75.89% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 77.23% follow it.

The Cyprus’s second-largest religion is Islam, accounts for about 18.81% of the population.
