Cyprus - Religions

Christianity is the Cyprus's top religion, around 75.89% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 98.2%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Cyprus population, has dropped to 98.2%. As to Christianity it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 80.2% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 75.89% follow it.

Islam is the second most practiced religion in Cyprus, accounts for about 18.77% of the population.
