Christianity believers fall in Bulgaria

Christianity is the Bulgaria's top religion, around 71.38% of the population. A very great percentage of Bulgarians, 81.63%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Bulgaria population, has dropped to 81.63%. As to Christianity it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 76.41% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 71.38% follow it.

Islam is the second most practiced religion in Bulgaria, accounts for about 10.05% of the population.
