The latest survey data indicate believers share of Bulgaria population, has dropped to 85.6%. As to Christianity it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 79.87% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 76.41% follow it.
The second-largest religion in Bulgaria is Islam, accounts for about 9.09% of the population.
