Buddhism is the most common religion in Bhutan

Buddhism, with 73% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. The entire population, 100%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Bhutan population, has remained to 100%. As to Buddhism it has increased, the previous survey recorded 72.65% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 73% follow it.

The Bhutan’s second-largest religion is Hindu, accounts for about 23% of the population.
