Animist Religions is the Benin's top religion, around 72.5% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.99%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Benin population, has remained to 99.99%. As to Animist Religions it has increased, the previous survey recorded 72.21% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 72.5% follow it.

Christianity is the second most practiced religion in Benin, accounts for about 14.65% of the population.
