Suicides fell in Guinea-Bissau

By 2015, suicides in Guinea-Bissau increased by 1 people to at 116 suicides

In Guinea-Bissau there were 7.1 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, less than the average suicide in the world, of 9.51 self-harm per 100.000 people.

Of the 116 recorded suicide cases in 2015, 81 were men suicides and 34 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 9.23 per 100,000 men and for women 3.79 per 100,000 female.

Statistics show that in 2014, suicides were the main cause of unnatural death in the world. In Guinea-Bissau suicide also is one of the leading causes of unnatural death.
