Suicides The Gambia 2015
In The Gambia there were 5.94 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, much less than the average suicide in the world, of 9.48 self-harm per 100.000 people.
Of the 124 recorded suicide cases in 2015, 82 were men suicides and 42 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 7.36 per 100,000 men and for women 3.67 per 100,000 female.
