Denmark has a very high suicide rate compared to other countries.

Of the 1,420 recorded suicide cases in 1985, 885 were men suicides and 535 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 35.1 per 100,000 men and for women 20.6 per 100,000 female. In spite of this, it is one of the countries with the highest female suicide rate in the world.
