Suicides fell in Bhutan

By 2004, suicides in Bhutan increased by 1 people to at 80 suicides

In Bhutan there were 13.04 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, above the world average of 10.53 suicides per 100,000 people.

Of the 80 recorded suicide cases in 2004, 50 were men suicides and 30 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 14.33 per 100,000 men and for women 10 per 100,000 female.

Statistics show that in 2014, suicides were the main cause of unnatural death in the world. In Bhutan suicide also is one of the leading causes of unnatural death. By comparison, there were 15 homicides in Bhutan, the number of suicides far outnumber homicides. For every homicide there were 5.3 suicides.
