Life expectancy improves in Viet Nam

In 1998 the life expectancy in Viet Nam increased to 72.11 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 76.76 years and for men 67.43 years.

Viet Nam’s position improvened with respect to the 193 countries we publish life expectancy, dropping from the 64th in 1997 to 62th in 1998.
