Life expectancy improves in Viet Nam

In 2023 the life expectancy in Viet Nam increased to 74.59 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 79.26 years and for men 69.88 years.

Viet Nam’s position worsened with respect to the 195 countries we publish said data, dropping from the 81th in 2022 to 88th in 2023.

If we look at the change in life expectancy in Viet Nam over the past several years, we find that it is higher than in 2022, when it was 74.5 years, which is the same of what happens compared to 2013, when it was 73.82 years.
