Panamanians CPI goes down to 2.1%

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Panama in August of 2014 was 2.1%, 1 tenth less than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.1%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2014 is 1.5%

We must highlight the increase of 1.2% in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, until its interannual rate reached 1.7%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Transport of -0.8%, and an interannual variation of 1%.
