August of 2021 CPI went up in Lebanon

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Lebanon in August of 2021 was 137.8%, 144 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 10.3%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2021 is 99.9%

We must highlight the increase of 26.6% in the prices of Alcoholic beverages and tobacco, until its interannual rate reached 197.1%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Education of 0%, and an interannual variation of 10.5%.
