Hondurans CPI increased up to 3.2% year-on-year in August of 2020

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Honduras in August of 2020 was 3.2%, 1 tenth higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.2%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2020 is 2.1%

We must highlight the increase of 2.5% in the prices of Transport, until its interannual rate reached 0.7%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages of -1.1%, and an interannual variation of 6.2%.
