Egyptians CPI increased up to 11.5% year-on-year in August of 2014

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Egypt in August of 2014 was 11.5%, 9 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 1.5%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2014 is 45.1%

We must highlight the increase of 8.1% in the prices of Health, until its interannual rate reached 19.7%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Transport of -0.1%, and an interannual variation of -9.7%.
