Since June 2006, the national minimum wage in Türkiye remained fixed at €265 per month, that is 3,180 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.
If we look at the minimum salary in Turkish liras, which is the official currency in Türkiye, we can see that, this year, it was 531 Turkish liras and accordingly, the national minimum wage has remained stable, while the CPI of 2006 which was 7.7%, so workers have lost purchasing power in the last year.
If we look at the ranking of the national minimum wage that we publish, Türkiye is in 23 nd place of the 81 of the list.
