Since June 2005, the national minimum wage in Türkiye remained fixed at €291.8 per month, that is 3,502 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.
If we look at the minimum salary in Turkish liras, which is the official currency in Türkiye, we can see that, this year, it was 488.7 Turkish liras and accordingly, the national minimum wage has remained stable, while the CPI of 2005 which was 9.4%, so workers have lost purchasing power in the last year.
If we look at the ranking of the national minimum wage that we publish, Türkiye is in 22 nd place of the 78 of the list.
