Since June 2011, the national minimum wage in Serbia remained fixed at €231.6 per month, that is 2,779 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.
If we look at the minimum salary in Serbian dinars, which is the official currency in Serbia, we can see that, this year, it was 22,458.7 Serbian dinars and accordingly, the national minimum wage has remained stable so workers have lost purchasing power in the last year.
If we look at the ranking of the national minimum wage that we publish, Serbia is in 46 nd place, so it is among the countries with the lowest minimum salary of the 101 of the list.
