In 2008, the national minimum wage in Cambodia remained fixed at €0 per month, that is 0 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.
If we look at the minimum salary in Riels, which is the official currency in Cambodia, we can see that, this year, it was 50 Riels and accordingly, the national minimum wage has remained stable, while the CPI of 2007 which was 14%, so workers have lost purchasing power in the last year.
If we look at the ranking of the national minimum wage that we publish, Cambodia is in the last place on the list, it is the country with lowest minimum wage of the 90 of the list.
