In 2019 Poland public debt was 245,518 million euros 274,858 million dollars, has increased 4,8409,383 million since 2018.
This amount means that the debt in 2019 reached 46% of Poland GDP, a 2.9 percentage point fall from 2018, when it was 48.9% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Poland debt. It has risen since 2009 in global debt terms, when it was 165,265 million euros 230,511 million dollars although it has fallen as a percentage of GDP, when it amounted to 49.4%.
According to the last data point published, Poland per capita debt in 2019 was 6,466 euros7,238 dollars per inhabitant. In 2018 it was 6,338 euros 7,485 dollars, afterwards rising by 128 euros247 dollars, and if we again check 2009 we can see that then the debt per person was 4,346 euros6,062 dollars .
The position of Poland, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2019 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 83 in the list of debt to GDP and 139 in debt per capita, out of the 186 we publish.
