In 2017 Poland public debt was 240,220 million euros 271,377 million dollars, has increased 11,98518,744 million since 2016.
This amount means that the debt in 2017 reached 50.6% of Poland GDP, a 3.6 percentage point fall from 2016, when it was 54.2% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Poland debt. It has risen since 2007 in global debt terms, when it was 145,930 million euros 199,997 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 44.2%.
According to the last data point published, Poland per capita debt in 2017 was 6,325 euros7,146 dollars per inhabitant. In 2016 it was 6,010 euros 6,653 dollars, afterwards rising by 315 euros493 dollars, and if we again check 2007 we can see that then the debt per person was 3,829 euros5,247 dollars .
The position of Poland, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2017 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 93 in the list of debt to GDP and 139 in debt per capita, out of the 185 we publish.
