In 2018 Poland public debt was 240,470 million euros 283,995 million dollars, has decreased 306 11,990 million since 2017.
This amount means that the debt in 2018 reached 48.9% of Poland GDP, a 1.7 percentage point fall from 2017, when it was 50.6% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Poland debt. It has risen since 2008 in global debt terms, when it was 143,344 million euros 210,831 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 46.3%.
According to the last data point published, Poland per capita debt in 2018 was 6,332 euros7,478 dollars per inhabitant. In 2017 it was 6,340 euros 7,162 dollars, afterwards dropping by 8 euros 316dollars, and if we again check 2008 we can see that then the debt per person was 3,759 euros5,528 dollars .
The position of Poland, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2018 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 86 in the list of debt to GDP and 137 in debt per capita, out of the 186 we publish.
