In 2017 Jordan public debt was 34,062 million euros 38,480 million dollars, has increased 8041,667 million since 2016.
This amount means that the debt in 2017 reached 94.35% of Jordan GDP, a 0.59 percentage point rise from 2016, when it was 93.76% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Jordan debt. It has risen since 2007 in global debt terms, when it was 9,209 million euros 12,621 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 73.77%.
According to the last data point published, Jordan per capita debt in 2017 was 3,483 euros3,935 dollars per inhabitant. In 2016 it was 3,482 euros 3,854 dollars, afterwards rising by 1 euro81 dollars, and if we again check 2007 we can see that then the debt per person was 1,487 euros2,038 dollars .
The position of Jordan, as compared with the rest of the world, has remained in 2017 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 166 in the list of debt to GDP and 113 in debt per capita, out of the 186 we publish.
