In 2021 Iran public debt was 103,650 million euros122,672 million dollars, has increased 20,94528,282 million since 2020.
This amount means that the debt in 2021 reached 42.4% of Iran GDP, a 5.87 percentage point fall from 2020, when it was 48.27% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Iran debt. It has risen since 2011 in global debt terms, when it was 55,092 million euros 76,673 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 12.26%.
