In 2022 Iceland public debt was 18,348 million euros19,336 million dollars, has increased 2,03630 million since 2021.
This amount means that the debt in 2022 reached 68.9% of Iceland GDP, a 6.53 percentage point fall from 2021, when it was 75.43% of GDP.

In 2021 it was 43,355 euros 51,312 dollars, afterwards rising by 3,963 euros1,445 dollars, and if we again check 2012 we can see that then the debt per person was 30,117 euros61,383 dollars .
