In 2018 Guinea public debt was 3,913 million euros 4,621 million dollars, has increased 208435 million since 2017.
This amount means that the debt in 2018 reached 38.21% of Guinea GDP, a 2.39 percentage point fall from 2017, when it was 40.6% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Guinea debt. It has risen since 2008 in global debt terms, when it was 2,769 million euros 4,073 million dollars although it has fallen as a percentage of GDP, when it amounted to 58.46%.
According to the last data point published, Guinea per capita debt in 2018 was 315 euros372 dollars per inhabitant. In 2017 it was 307 euros 347 dollars, afterwards rising by 8 euros25 dollars, and if we again check 2008 we can see that then the debt per person was 268 euros395 dollars .
The position of Guinea, as compared with the rest of the world, has improved in 2018 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 59 in the list of debt to GDP and 24 in debt per capita, out of the 186 we publish.
