In 2016 Guinea public debt was 3,282 million euros 3,633 million dollars, has decreased 40 53 million since 2015.
This amount means that the debt in 2016 reached 42.85% of Guinea GDP, a 0.78 percentage point rise from 2015, when it was 42.07% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Guinea debt. It has risen since 2006 in global debt terms, when it was 3,168 million euros 3,978 million dollars although it has fallen as a percentage of GDP, when it amounted to 95.22%.
According to the last data point published, Guinea per capita debt in 2016 was 265 euros293 dollars per inhabitant. In 2015 it was 275 euros 305 dollars, afterwards dropping by 10 euros 12dollars, and if we again check 2006 we can see that then the debt per person was 323 euros406 dollars .
The position of Guinea, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2016 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 80 in the list of debt to GDP and 20 in debt per capita, out of the 185 we publish.
